I’m proud to announce brightday's Complete Super and Complete Pension products have both been awarded a gold rating from independent research house SuperRatings, a free service used by Australians to compare super funds.
SuperRatings has over ten performance areas which are rated from below average through to excellent. Those ratings are then combined to give an overall assessment of other, silver, gold or platinum.
Both products were rated 'excellent' by SuperRatings in the following areas:
- Super fees and charges for medium ($50k) and large ($100k) account balances; Pension fees and charges for all account balances
- Variety of investment options in both Super and Pension
- Member education in both Super and Pension
- Death insurance cover in Super
The only area where we scored less than ‘good' was in the area of performance. This makes sense given we scored 'n/a' for the performance of our ready-made investment options, due to not having a full twelve months’ track record as we only launched our business earlier this year.
It really is a great vote of confidence from one of the peak independent rating agencies in Australia. For me, it recognises we’re delivering more investment options, with better education and decision making support, at a price that is probably less than you’re paying elsewhere.
